Norinco 97 trouble
« on: July 03, 2012, 08:24:15 PM »
Just picked up a used norinco 97 and  I am having some issues with it. What happens is when I pull the action back everything works great but when I try to close the action it binds up and I can close it but i have to really force the pump to close it. Anyone have any suggestions?

1) make sure you are using 2.75" shells. 3" will cause problems

2) try Winchester AA or Remington STS shells.  They are both smooth side shells and these Chinese scatterguns tend to run better with them. (especially the Chinese '87).
