32 S&W Pocket Pistol Question

Howdy y'all
I'm brand new to "Cas City" n this har's ma first question I ever posted.
See, I just got a beautiful nickle plated .32 "short" double action, S&W pocket pistol. iIt seems to be in good workin order. (I went to a gunsmith, & he told me so) Now, ma delima is this...
I have looked high, I have looked low, n I can't find any .32 S&W short rounds, that are loaded with black powder, like they were originally desined to shoot. I've found smokeless powder loads, but I'm scared the lil hunred and thirty year old girl won't be able to take that kinda pressure shock What should I do? Should Ikeep lookin fer Black powder loads er jus go ahead with the more modern smokeless powder loads?
I would surely appreciate anyones help.

Why not load your own BP loads?

Right now, nobody is making the .32 S&W commercially in BP loads. The modern smokeless loads are all loaded to BP standards. I confirmed this by contacting the experts at S&W and also at Ultramax. I've used the Ultramax .32 S&W loads in my S&W pocket pistol without a proiblem. So long as your gunsmith says the gun is safe to fire, you should be OK. Have fun.

THEN;  Reload them with black!   I use LEE .32 auto dies with a 9mm Luger shellholder.

This is what most experts will agree on. I have bought winchester loads that were very mild and did not cause or make a lot of pressure. If the gun is worthy of taken to the range then they should be safe to use. I believe 10x also offers a round suitable for these old hand guns. Buyer beware they are expensive.

I have a friend who has a reloading business and reloads with Goex Powder ....for both my Navy Arms Schofield and my little '98 4th Model S&W .32 (Short)
