I just finished this one for Kid Terico. 7" Shefield blade.

I really like the way this one turned out, might have to make one for myself! ::)

That's beautiful!!

I'm not a regular in this forum and I'm not very knowledgeable about knives so I have to ask, 1). what material is the handle, and 2). is this knife considered 'period correct'?

kflach, the handle is California Buckeye Burl. Quite rare now that it is a protected species.

As far as "period correct" probably not entirely but it's close enough for me I guess? I just like to make things that look good! ;D

Nice one Ned!  I can't put my finger on it but that knife has "it." That style of blade is one of my favorites.  Thanks for sharing.
