The Proposistion
« on: May 31, 2008, 07:28:54 PM »
Had a movie on while I was goin in an out taday, caught little snippets here an there an plan ta watch it in full tanight on the DVR.
It's a recent Aussie western called The Proposition.  The basic plot is that a man must kill his older brother to save his younger one.  From what I saw of it it's very bloody--not fer the kids, but it looks like it may well be a good one.  I used the CAS city search engine and didn't see any other posts about it, so I'll get back after giving it a concentrated viewing.

A very cool flick.  Lots of neat guns and they seemed to have done their research, to boot!

My son gave me the DVD a while back.  Finally watched it.

Remember an Australian mini-series about twenty-five years ago called Eureka Stockade, about a gold miner revolt of some sort set in the 1850's I believe.
The first step of becoming a good shooter is knowing which end the bullet comes out of and being on the other end.
