I've owned 2 4" Combat Magnums that I sold in a moment of weakness (I needed money for bills) and I still have a Model 19 snub that will get buried with me along with my HiPower,3 screw Blackhawk 357's and 1911.  ;)  ;) The Model 15 is every bit as good as the 19. I'm sure it will serve you well.

The new (to me) 15-2 is in hand and it's magnificent.
Well, pretty dam nice anyway for 58 years ...Made in 1967.
The one of the original Magna's grips has very minor dent, I've
already steamed out. They are numbered to the gun and have
a bit of honest finish wear.
My trick here is to use Homer Formby's finish restorer,
It softens the OEM finish and blends it into the warn area.
No sanding and all you are doing is redistributing the original finish...
There is a bit of holster wear on the muzzle, gained honestly and will not be messed with.
Homer Formby's needs dry, then wax and reassemble.
Shoot it tomorrow.
Lock up is vault tight, checked for end shake, bore is bright, gave it a deep cleaning and lube.
