Plating Aluminum parts?

Once I remove the worn anodizing,  Can the Aluminum parts be silver plated?   Then a bule SA with silver grip frame, TG and Ejector housing.

Aluminum can be plated.  The thickness of the plating is going to add to the dimension of the part.  You can also have the part reanodized.
