Just Picked up
« on: May 22, 2014, 04:48:16 PM »
1858 Converison in .45 LC.  I bought it only because it was a screaming deal.  I might be persuaded to let someone else have the bargain although I am terribly intrigued by it and certainly could not replace one in that shape (50 rounds only) for that price.

If this intrigues anyone here and you have a swap or purchase idea, let me know.  If you buy it quickly, I could get it to you for LESS THAN 400.00.

Just got mailing expenses and if anyone here is interested, I can move this for just under 350.00--that is my cost.  If not, I will hang onto it for a couple years and shoot her.

It's a Uberti factory conversion. I have one in .44-40. Nice shooting gun.

No, factory conversion Uberti/Cimarron, not a drop in at all.  Loading gate, etc.

Wow!  I was going to move this piece but I may have to find a way to keep it.  It is new and extremely nice.  The action is so crisp and smooth it is a real joy to play with.  Have to think hard about this one.
