I changed my mind about my R&D '51
« on: March 15, 2005, 08:46:22 AM »
I sent my '51 Navy off to Kenny Howell after I installed the conversion ring and cylinder to have him recase harden the frame (I scratched it with the Dremel  :'() and I sent him an Richards- Mason ejector assembly to install.

But I called him up yesterday and told him not to put the ejector on...It's all Doc Greysun's fault!!! ;D

We had a thread going on about the guns used in "Deadwood". He posted pictures of Wild Bill's (Keith Carradine) '51 Navies, and you can clearly see that they are conversions. They looked so cool with no ejectorss and with the loading levers still in place that I had to have mine that way.  8)

Here's my conversion. I'll put poly-ivory grips on it after Kenny re-cases the frame (hope I don't scratch it again  ::))
