U.S Arms Abiline
« on: February 26, 2010, 07:27:52 AM »
Hello Pards, I recently aquired an Abiline by US Arms in .45lc...Can anyone give me any info. The gun is drop dead gorgeous. I can't find much out there about it. Even my Blue Book only mentions the 357 and 44. Any ideas as to value? Any help would be appreciated.

Back in the day in which they were available they were highly touted in the gun magazines, and mourned when they became unavailable.  No personal experience, but I've done a lot of reading over the years.  It was a strong gun, from what I read, more so than a Colt/copy, and usually held up as being in the same league with the Ruger.

We are old school here.   Your papers will be corrected (in red pencil) and returned to you to be recopied.

Now, how about some pics of that shootin' iron?

I never shot one , but I did handle one, and liked what I saw, like Jamie said they looked to be a very strong gun, the one I looked at was in 44 mag, so you know it had to be strong, the guns appearance was beautiful and the timing and lock up also was great, I'd say you're lucky to have found this gun, I'd hang on to it, I can't tell you what it's worth, but my guns all have special value to me, I'm sure this gun will be the same for you.
