Not fun to carry ,but very handy on the bench. This is my newest old 1876 Winchester,45-60wcf cal. 28"oct. barrel ,full mag.Winchester mid-range tang and Beeches front sight. Using the 350gr. bullet for the 45-75wcf as cast home lube case full 2ffg Swiss with 1/10"  compression ,then bullet seated and heavy crimp. std. Lg. rifle primer ,Have found this load very accurate in the old rifle, bore is in very good condition for a 130+ yr. old gun. This rifle had been silent for the past 80 + yrs. After some bore polish it is starting to show some promise for a good shooter. Have a good load and it Dialed in @ 100yd. Now to see how she show's at 200 and 300yd. ,,,,,Dusty

Just cast  some more .45 cal. 350gr. bullets for range testing of my 45-60 wcf . The old Winchester mould still cast great bullets after so many years.,,,,,,Dusty

Had another good day at the 300yd. range ,with the old 1876 Winchester 45/60 target gun. Was very HOT but took my time and kept a slow pace. The load and lube stood up to the heat.Groups were on par with cooler days. One more pic. of the controls.,,,DT.
