IAB Sharps firing pin block

I just picked up an older IAB Sharps in 45-70. I was wondering if anyone had removed the firing pin block safety that is installed on the breech block. It seems like a real pain to deal with.

Yes. I did that also. I saved the parts so that they could be reinstalled if I sold it. Not hard to do just watch for the small parts.
