Far as I'm concerned they can re-sign Murray. Morris is just as good with the same team around him Murray has.

Bryant, on the other hand, would be a good grab. With Snyder's penchant for signin' names it could happen if Jones won't work a wrinkle. Moss is on the downside 'n replacin' him would be a good thing. Garçon, Jackson 'n Bryant would be a heck of a trio for whoever ends up throwin' the ball.

'Nother plus for Bryant is he can run onto the field without a helmet 'n scream at the officials without drawin' an unsportsman like conduct flag. Or is that an o'erall Jones' team thing?

The Packers lost a heartbreaker to Seattle. They out played them for 3 and a half quarters. Seattle did not deserve to win. The Pats are having it easy against the Colts.

They had several opportunities to put Seattle away and didn't do it. If Seattle plays like it did against the Packers, they will get beat worse than the Pats beat the Colts.

All Monday mornin' quarterbackin' from me 'n I ain't much on 'what ifs' either but I can't help but wonder what would have been with a healthy Rodgers. Maybe a couple TD's rather'n FGs when they when it was close to nothin' 'n goal. Game'd been outta reach.

Either way I'm with yer call. Belichick ain't gonna ease off 'n let anyone back in the game if he gets a lead on 'em.

Gotta go with the Patriots. Right coast, left coast thing - New England's the home team. Do feel sorry for the Seahawks havin' ta play in them butt-ugly uniforms tho.

I just read that Wonder Wimp is retiring as a full-time driver in NASCAR at the end of the 2015 season. I am not disappointed, now if we could get rid of JJ. I guess that opens the door for Chase Elliott to enter the Hendricks stable in 2016.

Interesting going into Daytona.

Two years ago the big story was Patrick beginning a full time cup season. She wins the pole.

Last year we saw the return of the 3 along with the anticipated hype. Dillon wins the pole.

Most likely Gordon's quitting will be the big story prior to this year's running of the first plate race of the season. Will anyone be surprised if the 24 takes the pole? Who will be surprised if he doesn't?

The commentary on the various and sundry media should be entertaining. Of course, if the 24 takes it, it's pure coincidence - just like the previous two years. Heh, heh, heh....

He's 13 short of Pearson for second 'n he hasn't won 13 in a season since '98. Pearson did it in 574 races. To date, Gordon's been in 761.

In terms of races won to races entered he's fifth after Pearson 1, Petty 2 'n pretty much a tie between Johnson 'n Yarborough for third.

Pearson won close to one in five.
