Checking in  ;D

First
I have fondled the new Type II at the Cimarron Booth ... It's worth the wait trust me ! ( and yep,  I'm # 6 on their List )
They only have the one themselves.
Look for nickel versions maybe in 6-8 months

And specific question I'll answer  ...as there is so much to see and do .... I could write a book.

Saw the Chaparral Guns by Charter Arms ( I don't know what all the fervor is ) I'm not that impressed.
I say as to the show guns anyway, Quality is on pair with mid-quality importer standard ( like Traditions ) Italian.
Wood is plain straight grain hardwood and finishe with a gloss & fake grain.
Cimarron and Uberti have nothing to worry about. IMHO
Of course they do have the big bore 76's
and a nice 1878 Colt Hammered SXS.... but again I like my TTn better & it is $200 less

when planets align...do the deal !

Great frontline report, Major. Now how 'bout some photos of the USFA 1875 Remington as well as the scoop?  ;)

They are not allowing photos ( although I have seen some Phone cam's sorry I don't have one ) cameras are turned away....
or so the signs say...
I'm a General Contractor so I'm not about to break their rules.

As to the Remington's I wrote that up over in The USFA forum..

Buy happy to repeat it here

There is a CNC block frame for an 1858 NMA C&B/conversion.
I'm quoting the Factory rep and the Owner of USFA ..
My question was when might they be available ?
" Certainly not this year " he said .. I asked next year ? 2 years ... he said " they were still evaluating the product "

Thought, there was no CNC block frame for a 1875 " he said that too was still being evaluated "

This included the 1873 CNC frame & barrel blank on display...
They did say the Colt Ace Auto 22 might be this year....

Oh, and they are not crazy about the Lightning Rifle, they have it but it's a quote, "PITA"  unquote  ( continue it ???? don't know )
when planets align...do the deal !
