If you haven't seen "King of Texas" with Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart), don't bother.  This has to be the worst western I have ever watched.  The DVD states, "Stewart delivers a knockout performance" but, it's the slowest, most boring film I have ever seen.  I don't think one actor in this film did a good job.  Has anyone seen it yet?

Not a Patrick Stewart fan, but did watch at least 15 minutes of it quite a spell back and switch channels to something else. I agree, not worth watching or buying.

I believe it was written as essentially King Lear in Texas.  While it gets lots of Praise, it is not one of my favorite Shakespeare plays.   I think it gets the praise for the fact whoever is in the lead role, like stewart, can really shine.
