Del, you need to get Rowdy some cold weather boots. It has not been too cold down here, but we have gotten some rain. Victoria likes to lay out in the rain with her rawhide chew. The Cawffee is going fast. I fixed some sausage on a bun with cheese. I had some small hamburger buns, so I used them in lieu of biscuits. They turned out okay, the cheese made the difference. no clue for lunch or supper.

It is only get to the low 40s today. We will have a warmup this weekend. I still haven't got around to lunch. It is overcast and cold today. The electric throw feels good.

Started at 5 A.M., we got 4" of the evil white stuff over night. Sun's out now, but the temp is only 11 with a WC of 0 or below. Spent 6 hours out in this stuff today, feet still haven't warmed up much yet. Spread 1500 lbs. of the new salt as well as plowing and shoveling the common areas. My drive ain't done yet, will probably break down and get it done after the wife leaves. Anybody shoot that durn ground hog yet?

Keep the snow in Ohio, I don't want any down here. The Cawffee still tastes good and it warming me up. I'm Skipping lunch, and still no clue for supper. Maybe I can talk Moose into making some potato soup for supper tonight.

Thought the groundhog drownt. It was rough standin' on the o'erturned collapsible in the swell 'n the breeze what kicked up after the Titanic went down. But, we was lucky to be on it. Chuck Lightoller was a real hero that frigid mornin'. We owe a great debt ta the man. Proud to have made his acquaintance tho it's been some time ago 'n I may have conflated an event er two. Might have been that I got cold standin' on the wing of flight 1549 after Capt. Sullenberger put er down off the coast of Haiti after striking a lone suicide bald eagle 'n there weren't no ground hog. Either way, I apologize cuz y'all don't remember it. Story at 11.....

Got skunked. No birds. Might go out late 'n take the fat lady ta eat somewhere near the nest after the sun drops. If not, spaghetti.

I've whooped on a few of them rodents with my 22 Hornet, they are making a come back around here, whooped on more of them prairie dogs with the 243 and the hornet, don't know if they look at their shadows though.

M2, We had Chinese last night, I was hungry about 15 minutes later. It has only got up to 35 so far. It is supposed to be in the high 60s tomorrow. I am hoping that Moose will fix some of her famous potato soup for supper tonight.

Nice sunny but cold day here. Only 31 as I type. Snowstorm fizzled out last night, thankfully. Just barely visible snow. Can't use the regular description for it, might get that "boat" sn** description thing going again like last year.

Rain clear out, nice out ....
TLD/Moose's Potato Soup struck a cord , decided to get some soup at the concrete pantry.
Clam Chowder was my 1st. choice, none was to be had

...going in I past a NY Pizzeria, I have not tried....so

Decided on the Calzone , Ham & Italian sausage ....pretty good , but way bigger than I could eat.

M2, Moose makes a mean stroganoff. She usually fixes it for me on my birthday. We ususlly have enough for two meals.

No sn*w but the temps dropped as guessed 'n the breeze ain't too comfortin'. Won't see a breath of it this summer..

Went out later'n usual 'n found the home birds, Baxter 'n Princess Anne, at the nest. He's still bringin' in 'n layin' carpetin' while she watches - 'n prolly gripes 'bout how he's doin' it. Sun started ta fade they flew off in different directions. Dumb birds...

Ended up bakin' chicken 'n nukin' brown rice. Want fish for tomorrow but I ain't got any. Might 'dream up' a way to acquire such a fine meal here in a few minutes.
