Gentlemen, The Grand Muster of 2023 is in the books, and once again it was great seeing those of you who attended.  Seeing you guys is really the highlight of the weekend for me!

A big thank you from us Texicans for an awesome Grand Muster! I know y’all put a tremendous amount of time and effort into preparing for and running the match. It’s the best event we attend each year! Thank you!

Sadly attendance was just not in the cards this year.

It was a long drive there and back. 1,750 miles round trip but worth every bit of the time and distance. Great group of guys to shoot with and the stories on top of the hill afterwards is worth the trip. I shot the skirmish runs as a Norwegian Navy; the Expansion Era as a Greek infantryman; was an RO as USMC, and then went to the Banquet in US Army 1899 Philippine Insurrection US Army Engineer officer. So covered lots of bases. I also enjoyed visiting the WW1 Museum in Kansas City on the way back home to Indiana. Made a full time of the days I had. Already planning to be back in 2024.

It was good to see everybody.  It was hard to stay on the sidelines, but enjoyed watching some great shooting. I am going to start BB guns this week and should be shooting by September. My Orthodontist is a shooter and is also determined to get me back shooting. Hopefully will be in good shape to shoot Jack’s shoot in October. Woody (Scott) got the bug big time and loves shooting the trapdoor.

Hi Everyone,
It was great seeing everyone! Participation was off a bit, but still a good crowd. I'll try to get my AAR filed next week.

Still planning for the last weekend of June 2024, but the date still may need to be changed, just be sure to stay tuned!
