Pards..eat your hearts out...I just got my Russians back from Bill English...so let me describe how they now function
1) hammer is light and smooth, doesn`t feel as if the cylinder turns

2) trigger is crisp, clean

3) rear sight work allows you to actually see the front blade

4) beautiful feel on the slip hammer, like silk..no longer have to concentrate on not touching the trigger for fear of locking up the hammer

Does it sound like I am pleased!!! Absolutely thrilled with the work. I only regret I have to wait until I get back home to send him my Wells Fargo models.

Shot them Sunday..I just feel that for 49er function these are superb....just what I want..beautiful balance and very, very accurate..and did I mention very fast!
