Remington Spartan Hammered Shotgun Opinions
« on: March 04, 2013, 11:21:28 PM »
Hi

I have an opportunity to buy a Remington Spartan 12 Gauge Hammered Shotgun for $500.00.  20 inch barrels, etc.  Is that a decent price?  The guy selling it, bought the whole set up for SASS and then didn't shoot.

Thanks

Remington Spartan, isn't that one of the several personas that the Baikal shotguns were imported/sold under? I'll have to admit, I don't know a lot about these Spartans, but I think that's where they came from. If that's the case i would think that $500.00 is a bit high.
I will no longer respond to the rants of the small minded that want to sling mud rather than discuss in an adult manner.

Nope .... about $ 200 to high,  About $300-350 would be fair, assuming condition is LNIB.
and yes its a Baikal shotgun, they are TANK Tough though, and parts, should they be needed may be had from EAA Corp. in Cocoa Fl.

EAA imported them before, the Remington sidetrack  ::)  now EAA has the import franchise back again.

About $300-350 would be fair
when planets align...do the deal !

Hi

At the gun show, new ones were going for $469.99 plus tax of 7%.  The new Baikals don't have tube do they?

Thanks
