Laura Norder has taken off to a Girls High School reunion to meet up with old school mates and just left me at home to fend for myself

I feel quite neglected with parting words like, "You can manage to get you're own lunch, and just find something for dinner...........See ya"

She looks a bit bruised and battered after some serious dental surgery last Thursday, I just hope the others don't think " Poor thing, we've heard the mongrel has been knocking her around for the last fourty years!!"

Well better go and scratch up a bit of something to eat

, can't wait for those adoption papers to arrive...........

I've got a story that at least makes me giggle for ya TT all about those mongrel husbands.

Couple years back when I first got Buddy and we were still learning about one another I took him out for a ride. We were coming up out of this ditch when something spooked him and he bucked. My chin made full contact with the top of his head. Now for those of you who don't know a horse has a spot on the top of his head just about between his ears that I'm pretty sure is harder than the rest of his skull.

I didn't come off but when we came to a stop my sister yelled back to see if I was ok. "I'm fine" I replied and kicked Buddy up to catch up. He took a step and the whole world started to spin. So I waited for a moment until it stopped. Few days later my jaw sore and a slight bruise on my chin my ears all plugged up. So I figure it's either ear infection or something bad happened when I got hit...off to the military doc I go. I'm sittin' in the office tellin' the nurse all the dirty details for which I am somewhat imbarrased when the doc walks in right about as I say "and he hit me right in the jaw. I'm worried it could have done something."

Doc says nothin and examines me...sure nuff my ears are plugged from the hit..He gives me my perscriptions and I'm not thinking much of anything when he asks quietly "will you tell me who hit you"

He looked a little surprised when I told him and when that look of relief washed over his face it dawned on me just exactly what he was thinking.

I thought it was entertaining but I don't think my husband found the humor in it when I told him.

The papers are most likely held up in the Christmas rush..

, so that's something to look foward too.
