Hello Pards,
Can anybody out there tell me the approx. date of manufacture of a Springfield 1884 45-70 s/n566946?
I have a pretty nice one that I want to sell but need date of manufacture.

Already answered...

Production ceased in June, 1893, so all Trapdoors are pre-1898 antiques.
