Merry Christmas all.

Got a little snow overnight. Either that or someone threw a bunch of shaved ice everywhere.  It was a good time here at the TK place, good food and family. Though my dog is not enjoying the fireworks.

Good to see Del up walking and in a festive mood.

Festive mood?  I am tolerating this shit to give comfort to my poor sick wife who wishes me to put up with her Christmas shit ideas.  This was plan Z, never be used till all else has failed.  Her, she got standard plan A,  make husband dress up the part.🤪🤪🤪🤪

Like I said, festive. ::)

Evening all. I'll stir some coals.

Today the ladies went down to the city for their annual "girls day out." My girlfriend went along with them, and I think had a good time. My dad and brother went with me and the dog to play in the woods. Popped some rimfire primers and threw sticks.

Just got back from a long and ancient tradition of manhood, I just made the after midnight plumbing check.🙄

In my situation this is done with the help of a sweet young thing who has been escorting old men on such trips for 1/4 year.  Of course the young lady has yet to totally figure out what kind of creature it is  in 335A.  Although the lady in 335B seems normal until it is found she also sleeps with the feet sticking out from under the covers like the 335B creature.

I rarely awaken before 0600 to check plumbing.  However unless I have socks n shoes on, my feet are always cold.
I have a quilt at the foot end of bed to help there.

Respiratory nurse stops by today - bi annual visit.

Everything else normal

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

A mare hurt herself yesterday running around. We think she slipped in the mud. The rear right hock is swollen. She is not putting much weight on it. We are giving her anti-inflammatories.

'Tis 27 and overcast. High of 35.

I hope the Bhute meets the mares needs.

All our goats are ALL in season- we are without a herd buck. Noisy down at the old barn with them bleeping.

Coffee and tea are ready.

Fixed some fence this morning.

The mare is now putting the hoof flat on the ground.  :)

'Tis 29 and overcast. "Cloudy with rain and snow this morning changing to all rain for the afternoon. Some mixed winter precipitation possible. High 37F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 100%."
