Woke Up to Bad News
« on: May 16, 2010, 01:00:42 AM »
My father, Richard L. Rosales, was injured real bad early this morning in a car accident. The accident broke his ribs and collapsed his lungs, and may have injured his brain. They think he may have fallen asleep at the wheel. He's in the Intensive Care Unit in Oklahoma City. Later this afternoon, I was informed that he was doing better, but his lungs are still collapsed, and the doctors can't operate until that changes. Your thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.
A work in progress.

Any news?  How's he doing?

Learned yesterday that the bleeding in his brain stopped. My uncle Tony informed me that he is also alert and responsive. His surgery was postponed until 9a.m. this Monday. Haven't learned anything new today. I will update again as soon as I get more more information.
Thanks for your support. I'm getting more responses on this thread than on Facebook!
