GAF color guard at Winter Range

Once again GAF Department of the Platte was privileged to honor the colors at the opening ceremonies of Winter Range, the SASS national championship match.  We had a fine turn out this year with eight of us presenting the colors.  Present for duty were:  Pigpen, The Fixer, Dark Alley Dave, Lou Graham, Grizzly Adams, Dubious Don, Tenna, and Sagebrush Burns.  Were were further honored by the presence of four active duty soldiers from the Phoenix area.  Pictures are included.  Many thanks to all who gave of their time to serve.

Unfortunately, the video didn't turn out well.
The light was too low with to many spotlights on the wall and there was a really nasty hum from the sound system.
I'll try to get a friend of mine to do some clean up and see if any can be salvaged.

It was an honor to serve with these  gents, and with Lou on the color guard.  Great group! :) 

I would also like to thank Colonel Burns for again organizing the troops for the Winter Range Color Guard.  Splendid, Sir! ;D

I adoff my hat to everyone involved. Once again, the GAF Color Guard comes through in a fashion that sets the standard upon which others struggle to achieve...

I received some feedback from Lt Col Scratch, a GAF member and also one of the organizers of Winter Range.

As I expected, the GAF received nothing but praise for a job well done.
