Pard there is no way I would miss the night shoot!

We might even stay over at the 4H center Friday night just so we don't have the drive and ferry that night and next am.

Another day of shooting missed due to "stuff".  Next chance will be second weekend in October.  Hope I can make that one.  I'm definitely shooting Range War and doing it with the one true powder.

WW - same thing has been happening here - between work and new house and the kiddo activities - shooting time has been scarce.

I do have reloading room finally in enough order to pump out some reloaded products  - which is good since I have almost 100 brass shells to reload and have 5 empty 38spl, 100 round boxes to fill.

On the plus side, I have found/scrounged enough 22lr recently that I am not worried about Cardinal's ammo.

Cardinal is growing up fast...she now wants faux mother of pearl black grips for her pistols!

PR they do grow up.  How is she doing with handling the rifle?  Has she tried the shotgun yet?  Soon she will be competing full bore.  Hope to see ya in a couple of weeks.  If not there is alway Range Wars.

She is wanting to shoot rifle more but still needs/wants my hand under hers helping to hold the front...it is getting less and less so I am not pushing hard on that. Her pistol work is better and better.

My way forward with shotgun is once she is holding rifle on own, I will begin a shotgun search for her - most likely sxs but with internal hammers.

Her pistol work gets better and better and she has been helping out more and more open and chatty with folks.

Hoping to shoot on 13th or 20th. Restocked my 38 spl this week loading up about 450 rounds. Need to do a bunch of 12 gauge and 10 gauge reloading through weekend. I have like 70+ empty brass hulls and probably 30+ plastic 10 gauge hulls too.

I have been able to get a little 22lr here and there - and now am comfortable that I can keep her shooting steadily/easily.

Looking forward to shootin with you both again.  I hope to get out on the 13th to get some smoke in the nose to get me ready for Range Wars.  I've arranged for Friday and Monday off so I can take it easy.  Hope the weather holds out this year.

Happy trails to you until we meet again.

Looks like the weather will hold for shooting at Waverly this weekend.  It has been a long time and I cannot wait to put some Fire, Smoke, BOOOOOM and Stink into the air at Waverly.

YEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Just a little more than two weeks to Sussex County Range War.  I'm really looking forward to the night shoot on Friday.  Bertha has been getting moody about not being able to play for so long.  She will roar soon.

Who's gonna ride wit me?

Haven't shot in almost two months but I'm still sure I can find a way to make some Smoke, Fire, BOOOOOOM and Stink.
