I'm thinking about opening up the recoil shield on my Starr Single Action so I can use my Ted Cash snail capper more easily. Has anyone tried this mod? It doesn't appear to need much steel removal to work.

Thanks, Forty Rod. I think I'll play with an inline capper before I grind; not a lot of steel there.
Mike: be careful with that plasma cutter around yer Buntline, ya could end up with a Sheriff's model!
