Y'all keep talking about the toggles being weak. Uberti stated, per a couple of comments somewhere above, that they strengthened the receiver metal. That tells me after much shooting high pressure loads, the receiver tends to stretch! Then you get the excessive head
space.......that's possibly why Winchesters testing of the 76 went the way it did. It was a new gun, not old, worn and abused..........like I am.........
