Spurs
« on: July 04, 2005, 09:34:02 PM »
At Hell on Wheels this weekend I got to check out the Lindholm spurs, good looking Spurs and most of their spurs are copies of the August Bauerman spurs from the 1870's to the early 1900's, they aren't cheap but they are good looking spurs...

You got that right, WW!  Even their least expensive spurs are great.  I wish I could afford a set.

I may have to get a set of them. It's nice to see something that doesn't have "Made in China" on it.

For the same reason we go to a match carrying more firearms and ammunition than a "real" cowboy would have used in a year or better.

Double O, unless he was ex-milatary from the Civil War or suthin' similar that would be more ammo than most cowboys or most post-Civil War soldiers would shoot in several years. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

In theory I agree with Ottowa Creek Bill, but I doubt I'd use spurs if I HAD a horse, so my spurs are for looks only.  I think they look  very cool!

That theory would require us all to wear Ha-why-eee-an shirts, Dockers shorts and Birk-een-stock sandals.   >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I agree with Del on this one.  I do wear shorts throughout the summer, but no sandals or Hawaiin?Hawwain?Hawiian?, Oh Hell, flowery shirts.  Those are reserved for the fellers that like that Ross the Intern on the Tonight Show.  (shaking head and trying to rid my mind of the mental images)
