Barbecued Lamb here Downunder
« on: January 25, 2010, 04:11:15 PM »

Well it's Australia Day here Downunder and we will be throwing a lamb chop on the BBQ  ;D We are celebrating the first white man(Capt James Cook) to set foot on Australian soil back in 1788 and claim this country for the English Crown.

After we had to whoop the crown twice, they wised up a bit and treated the Canucks and Aussies better than they did us.  They didn't have to shoot no one to become soviergn. ;)

Leo, You order mint jelly with the rack of lamb. When it comes out, you eat the mint jelly and throw the rack of lamb away.

I never got tired of lamb chops and lamb burgers in my life. The college farm processed a lot of mutton and most of it ended up in the College cafeteria. I guess that's the main reason I don't eat it today.

Got yer point.  I don't have the grease/goose reaction but it don't settle well.  Last time I had it I swear I could taste it for days.
