Some people must make a full time career of clumsiness.  They couldn't be so good at it by accident.

When I was a young soldier, Sergeant First Class Johnny Hooks was my supervisor.  There were times when he'd get so frustrated with our screw-ups that he'd shout, "My God!  I've been completely surrounded and overrun by incompetence!" :-[

Another time, SFC Hooks was unsatisfied with the way I was doing something.  I finally said, "Sergeant Hooks, I'm doing the best that I can!" :'(  SFC Hooks then just turned around, shaking his head and softly said, "I was afraid of that." :-\
God bless,

I am not smart enough to have thought to say these But I think these are good quotes from a great man.

"Do your duty in all things, you cannot do more, you should never wish to do less."

"Say just what you mean to do on every occasion and take it for granted that you mean to do right."
                                                                                    Robert E. Lee
and here's the homespun version of the latter.
"Make sure you're right and then go ahead"
                                                        Davey Crockett
