The tumor is still there but has shrank and not spread. Last week they took a biopsy and got the word yesterday and there is no cancer cells in it. They will monitor it closely but a big step forward. There were some times it was in doubt she would make it to Christmas. She is still having side affects from the radiation and has been in the hospital since I called 911 at 3 am Christmas Eve, she was having trouble getting up and since her and I weigh about the same it is well beyond what I am allowed to lift and don't want to end up like September talking to each other in different ER rooms and then from different rooms on different floors. It is funny now, it was not funny then. She also spent Thanksgiving in hospital and may spend New Years there or rehab a hospital.
She fell last Wed and Sat, Wed was at Drs office and it appears she cracked a rib, but there she had plenty of help, Sat she fell getting up the front steps and I was able to get her up, but despite her wanting to be home on Christmas I ended up sending her away early in the morning.
I am doing OK and with this new news if she gets so I can leave her at home and want to make the muster but in a limited capacity as make town runs and just supper for the campers. They put me on a mild anti anxiety med because the aforementioned problem in Sept I went because my BP was 197 over 105 and a heart rate of 155 even almost the same 2 hours later when I had napped and took nitro. That's up where it is easy to blow a gasket. Despite some occasional stress the numbers have not went near that with the med.
And if you wonder what me, the dog and the cats did for Christmas Dinner, we stayed home and had the good stuff. That is Annie Lee's skillet she left me and those wieners are imported from Ioway. As anyone should know it takes real guts to eat good weiners.
