Texas, Hoodoo, Longspur and myself will be away tomorrow for the weekend,we are going to a 2day shoot with the Cowra Cowboys out at Cowra about 350kms from here.

They call it Shootout on Billygoat Hill.They put on a great shoot,a bit of road kill on the spit and plenty of beer on the Saturday night .

Molly Blade and myself are going to Nowra for 'The Last Posse' for their 2 dayer, followed the next weekend by the CASS Committee Meetin' on Saturday and Newtec the day after. Like I said before to TT in the Fish post. there just ain't enough time in the day or days in the week.
Work id definately interfering with my hobby time.

Too many good shoots , too much fun too be had.
I'm heading to Cowra with the rest of the drunks,

Can someone please redesign the weekends so that we may shoot more often.

For all the US partners we never have a snow problem. Our only problem is a lack of sustaining fluid so we may shoot during the hotter months. Not many Cowboys in Australia own a coat. We don't need one.

However we appreciate an air conditioned range.................................................. It's my dream, leave me alone.

What a great shoot,The Cowra Cowboys really know how to put on a shoot.

Well done to the Grey Sash Cowboys 1,2,3 in Seniors.

That's right Dakota a great weekend and another top shoot put on by the Cowra Cowboys and a great Saturday night dinner put on by the Cowra Ladies.

The weather was hot and even the locals were complaining

What made me laugh was on Sunday morning a big Grey Kangaroo was sitting on the hill about 150yds behind the targets and just watched the whole shoot taking place as much as to say, "Well the best shots from town aint got me so I'm pretty safe, most of these dudes can't even hit those plates 10 yds in front of 'em.

The 38 Special load for your Marlin is 3.0 grains AS 30 behind a 125 grain RNFP projectile.

That's of course if it will shoot 38 special.

My load and it works in 66's 73's and Marlin Cowboys.

Thanks for the info Dakota,
That blue shirt was one you wore last year in Cowra, and it's taken TT a year to learn to get pics onto the net. TT looks great in the photo's, and now he'll be able to put some more on for all of us to see. G'day Texas Tall!
