Pic #2...
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

With the basic question in mind "can you make a competition holster for the Schofield?", coupled with my need for a holster for my new short barl acquisition and a little time to spare this morning equals this.  Naturally barl length is optional but the holster does roll the grip out from the hip and the fit is excellent for speed work.  Somewhat modern looking for my taste BUT yes the Schofield holsters can be made to the same specs as the speed rigs for Colt style revolvers.

Got my holsters from Will yesterday, went to fire off a pic, and found that I had left my camera on (i.e., battery deader than a ....).

So this AM I picked up a recharged camera and took this pic of the new rig:

I am so excited to get this going. In addition to the wonderful work that Will Ghormley did on the holsters, it was the last thing I needed to start competing ... bought an old Baikal 12 ga SXS and a very smooth Model 94 in .45 cal.  >>> and although I know these aren't the best guns the price was extremely right, and will allow me to begin to shoot and learn so that my next guns will be 'keepers' and these weapons will become backups .....
