Ive only started looking at some of the threads on this site. There seems to me a lot more Merwin collectors than there are on my side of the border.

Anyways, My pocket army has finally arrived. Its had a few modifications over the years but its another project for me.



Its a 44 russian model with 7" barrel.

It's hard to tell by the photo but is it missing the top-strap as all open-top models had scooped flutted cylinders or is it an open-top with a replacment using a standard cylinder? Assembly numbers match? Anyway, looks like you found yourself a nice project gun. Good luck with it, WBR.
