It feels real good Rick. The grip feel is close to an 1860 colt yet the bottom of the birds head fits better in the well of my palm. Good balance, but I think the shorter 3 1/2 " barrel would be better balanced more than the 4 3/4 barrel that I have. I would buy another one if the chance ever arose. My first Cimarron. I am very pleased with the fit and finish. The action is smooth, and the color case hardening is the best of all my guns. I guess it would only be fare if I talked you into buyin one now.  ;) So.........
Here's a link for more info on em pard!!
http://www.cimarron-firearms.com/Specialty/ThundererStd.htm#   ;D I Couldn't resist!

I think Joey Dillon has one, mine is at my sisters house, took it there to watch it with my brother in law and never got around to it and forgot to take it home.Joey used to do his thing at the Ponderosa Ranch in Tahoe till they closed it and sold it.I have never met Joey but emailed him after my cousin saw him and got an autographed pic from him.He is a real cool dude..
