Old Sayings

Hi Pards, I hope you can help me with this.

A shooting acquaintance (from a few years back) always used to say:-

"You are shooting like an Arapaho!"

This was when someone shot a bad target, shots all over the card. :-[

Until I met him, I had never heard the expression, ,,,have you??? ??? ??? ???

One of my favorites was if you are a dog stay under the porch.. uh, no that is not it.. let me see.. oh, got it.. if you can run liike a dog stay on the porch.. ... nooooo not quite.. hmmm Oh. got it if you can't run with the big dogs stay under the porch,. lol did I get it right?? lol..

Yep.. it is me.. and while I appear normal I am not .. I am crazy.. just ask anyone on SaSS or ask gunclickds he will warn ou.. lol..   I  really dont know.. but duck is pretty good so maybe she was eating when she said it??

I was loading my little bag full of bulelts and someone said "hey" and from there I started blabbering and uh.. what story was I telling now I forgot.. ..lol   I am crazy fingers.. and it looks good on me.. lol..

fantasys.. we get to pretend to be cowboys/girils and shoot stuff that goes bang and smell the smoke laugh like crazy, dress up like the 1890s, .. ah yeah I like fanaticies..lol..  I love them in fact.. lol...  When I get really old and crazy I will simply believe it is all true.. loll

  Deja vous, you're a very pretty Lady, love your smile, about the Duck, never saw my MIL eating any duck, but if something surprised her or made her angry,  you could count on her saying " Lord Love a Duck" go figure, never did understand it, but then there lots of things I don't understand. ??? :-\ ::) :o ;)

Okay official meaning from my own persoanl crazy book of what not to say at nice dinner parties.. The phrase is an exclamation used when nothing else will fit. Often fitting when one is stunned or dismayed.

I prefer to think of a deeper meaning.. like maybe a duck has real value.. oh, yeah, like a down jacket.. love a duck nd stay warm.. I dont' think the ducks believed we loved them though?  lol 

Thanks for you compliements, but the camera does add 5 pounds and the smile is on loan from daisy duck.. lol..  ah.. Crazy is a nice place, huh?  lol.
