I wonder if Trace Atkins even knows the place exists.

Bro. Sleep, I didn't forget.  I read where the man killed by the tornado in Mena Arkansas was in a Masonic Lodge.

Either way I am glad there were just 3 killed, I'm sure it could have been a lot worse.

It can always be a lot worse but every individual counts.  Every one person means the world to someone else.  Not preachin here whatsoever, I just feel for those folks.  Gonna go find some music to play.

Been using that www.pandora.com when I'm on the pewter at home, love it, did a Jimmie Rodgers station, and it plays other similar artists, did not know Gene Autry did Blue Yodel music, guess his cowboy stuff over shadowed the other stuff.  Dang sounds almost like Jimmie himself.

I like the Sons of the Pioneers fer that stuff.  The Sons of the Sons of the Pioneers weren't bad either, just short lived.

They used to do a show up in Branson several years ago. At that time, one of the original members was still with them. I still sorta partial to Bob Nolan's vocals and Ken Curtis wasn't bad either.

CD player just played this one by Don Edwards:

Deep water, ice and snow
And with a thousand cattle, we had to go
To get the cattle to the other side
You can bet your life we had to ride

Now the railroad was but a mile away
But ome men and horses would die that day
We held the herd on a ridge close by
As the north wind blew the snowflakes by

Well we were all chilled our bodies thru
But from cold or fear, nobody knew
So we lit us a smoke and we watched her blow
Now slack your cinches, we gotta go

Deep water, ice and snow
And with a thousand cattle we had to go

Well I pointed the men and we hit her fast
But our luck by now was  a fadin fast
That man was a talkin from down below
As my horse and I were  next to go

Well my horse turned over and  I floated free
But the waves was so high, I couldn't see
Then my horse swam by and I grabbed his tail
He dragged me outa that icy hell

Deep water, ice and snow
And with a thousand cattle we had to go

Well I'll never forget that terrible day
When grown men cried and I heard some pray
We crossed the cattle to the other side
Just to save a vain mans pride

Well the hell I've seen was  mighty cold
But  the other kinds worse  or so I'm told
Well I just hope when I have to go
It  ain't in deep water, ice or snow

Deep water, ice and snow
And with a thousand cattle we had to go
To get the cattle to the other side
You  can bet your life we had to  ride

Wonderin if that little dance were special fer Lawrence Welk's show.  I was waitin fer the bubble machine ta kick in.
