TLD, when I worked for Wagoner county, I went to the annual Sheriff, County Commissioner and Court Clerks, get together in Oklahoma City. it was a 3 day event at the Holiday Inn,   I found out ya ain't never partied till ya got together with all the Sheriff's in Oklahoma,    along with them driunk County Commissioners and Court Clerks.

Las Vegas. The Aladdin, on the strip.  Civil liability seminar. Hospitality Room was supposed ta go 1900-2100. Lights started goin’ off ‘fore 2000. Host had been hittin’ on an attorney all day ‘n I guess she finally said yes. He wanted us gone. We got gone – with every drop of adult beverage he had in the place. Mixers, coolers ‘n all. Six er eight of us.

I figgered if they sent me there to learn something, that I should. I had a few drinks, but I didn't stay out late. There was always serious partying going on, but I just didn't do it myself.

The City Attorney’s Office sent us ‘n paid for it from their budget. No one ever said it but I think the trip was a reward for work we did on a civil case. A three day thing.  Prolly didn’t get six hours sleep while we were there. We took good notes ‘n wrote the report on the plane on the way back. The stew spilled coffee on Dan’s crotch ‘n ‘fore he knew it she was wipin’ on it with a napkin. He turned beet red ‘n I laffed so hard I almost choked. That’s ‘bout it fer that part.

The Hospitality Room thing. Dan, my partner. ‘n I hooked up with a Captain from a small town outside LA. Turnt out he sold real estate part time ‘n so did Dan ‘n I. Just a real nice fellah lookin’ ta retire soon.

When the host decided ta run us out, he walked o’er ta the bar ‘n grabbed a half gallon in each hand then told Dan which two ta put under ‘is arms. Dan ‘n I left with a cooler fullah Coors. Others saw what was goin’ on in joined in in helpin’ themselves.

Don’t know ‘bout what-happens-stays thing. The Captain drove on the trip. Betcha them half gallons rode home with ‘im.

Done some crazy things but took em on home with me.  Kinda like all that Coors Arcey made off with.

Shouldah taken that cooler home. Wasn’t sure they’d take it on the plane. Left it in the room.

Missed my girls on them trips. Called the fat lady from Detroit ‘n tolt her what time we were expectin’ ta be at Norfolk. Andi was l’il ‘n missin’ me. She brought the kid ta the airport.

Heh, heh, she saw me. Ya hear a blood curtlin’ DADDY!!!!!!! ‘n went runnin’ right under the security rope. I bent ta pick ‘er up ‘n she ‘launched’ from a couple feet away. Damned near knocked me over.

She was o’er this afternoon. The computer they have I don’t think is werth much. Uses ‘er Momma’s ta type ‘n print reports fer classes she’s takin’. Reckon I could buy ‘em one fer Christmas.
