NV and BP
« on: March 06, 2012, 03:41:11 PM »
I finally did it! I own Ubertis and Piettas and Lever actions in .45 LC because I love black powder and love to relax reloading .45LC and .45 schofield loads. I can afford to do my own more than buying over the counter rounds.

But I finally ordered a Ruger NV in 4 5/8 blued .45LC and wondered if any of you were shooting BP and were there any problems? I've wanted one for daily carry around the farm. I just like the idea of being able to carry six rounds instead of five, and I'll use the others for the western reenacting I do.

I usually carry a Glock 22 or A Keltec pf9 for CCW, but I do have some boxes of silvertips and the old supervel .45 if I wanted to take it to town. I guess my main question is any binding problems with BP?

Thanks
