Thanks Major.  I see that they have gone up another $100.00 from last years shipment.
Then again that is nearly what they are selling for used on gun broker.

yup Buckskin, me too!   I graduated with a MBA in December and planned on treating myself to a Paterson or LeMat.  I have read there are two kinds of shooters, those that want a LeMat and those that want to get rid of a LeMat.   That pushed me towards the Paterson, but was having trouble finding one.    Then a wild hair popped up and I ordered a Dance Brothers Revolver from Cabelas.  Just got it last Friday.   As soon as I get some doctor stuff squared, I am firing it up.

Lookaing at the $599 price tag makes me wistfully hearken back to the good old days where I could pick up an Italian navy-six for $135 at EMF. I think that S&W AR15 for $799 is going to win the contest this time around. I'll wait till someone's selling off a piece of their kit at the good-ol-boy price.  I just can't bring myself to dump that kind of money on an Italian cap & ball.

Hey Buckskin, good luck with the tendon.  I severed the tendons to the last two fingers of my right hand 27 years ago.   It was in a fit of Tequilla and youthful stupidity.   Took 8 surgeries and a tendon graft to get them to work, little finger still doesn't work well.  I get cheloid scarring, bad combination.   Defnitely do what your PT tells you!
Tdave, I know not of what this AR15 you speak of.   Is it one of those cartridge thingies?   I am not sure that fad is going to catch on, powder, balls, and caps for me.  Although, I did succumb to the peer pressure and bought one of those Henry Rifles

Don't get me wrong boys, I'm eyeballs deep in BP guns and I'll never stop loving them. I just hate the fact that non-custom BP guns are being priced up into the same range as a new Glock, Sig, & etc. Just hearkening back to the days where our hobby was a lot more affordable. I love that Patterson (despite the fact that its one of the most complicated guns I've ever stripped down).

Oh well, at least new models are back on the market.
