The Blue Ridge Regulators did their annual WASA Charity Shoot yesterday. WASA extends the historic period thru World War I, allowing certain auto loading pistols.
One of the shooters was using a 1911 loaded with BP. Didn't get to talk to him about it so I don't know what he was using, wish I had. Truth be known I was too busy spendin' time with fellas I dearly love ta be 'round that I don't get ta see 'n shoot with much. Didn't take the time ta get ta the tech stuff 'n talk ta that shooter ta get the details like I should have. My fault.
Ennyways, it worked. What I did see was the pistol would hang now and again. Never did see it so bad it didn't finish a stage.
Thought it was an interestin' 'speriment.
