Newer SAA Dates Made?

Is it possible to get the date a gun newer that 20 years old was made?

Sure, but you have to ask Colt directly.

One of my OPS NCOs has called them and gotten current info - but maybe that was a courtesy.

Outside of Wilson's booklet, there's been no reprinting I know of off-hand, unless there's new dates in the newest Blue Book, so write down the serial number, and head to Barnes & Noble's.
