Morning y'all.
Coffee is hot.

T'storm started a little after 05:00. A lightning strike took out the VCR and the CRT TV is now rainbow colored. Gonna go to Walmart to see if I can find a LED with for a good price.

'Tis 68 and overcast. "Hot and humid. Partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning...Then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the lower 90s. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent. Heat indices to 102." We are under a heat advisory from 12:00 until 20:00.

The wife’s on the last leg home (DEN to RNO).  Have to go pick her up in about an hour and a half.

Planning on grilled marinade chicken, grilled corn on the cob and roasted red taters for her welcome home supper.

We had breakfast on the Patio this morning, Cold cereal and an English muffin. I came inside and took a nap. I didn't have lunch, I slept through it. I am thinking about grilled burgers tonight, with chips, potato salad, and baked beans.

Lunch was nothing I considered earlier ....wound up at Firehouse Subs and a turkey bacon ranch later I was full ...
I'm still full ....

Kato has found a really good hide for his nap, I hunted him and he didn't reveal by showing up for a Cat Treat ...
He showed a few hours later from some room unknown  :-\   I was in the Kitchen and turned around and there he was like he been there the whole time...

My male cat is like that!  I’ll go on a Jake hunt, and not find hide nor fur of him (and I keep adding hiding spots whenever I run across a new one) but I’ll check every spot and still when I come back into the same room, there he sits with his “were you looking for me?” expression on his face.

Got the wife safely back!  UAL didn’t lose her on the way home.  Still planning on chicken, taters and corn for supper.  Dining will be on the patio!  Cat’s still aren’t sure if they forgive her for disappearing for 2 weeks, but I’m sure they will join us.

We had blue berry waffles and link sausage for our breakfast on the Patio. I plan on grilling burgers on the grill, with chips and pork and beans for supper tonight.

It got too hot for the Patio, So I moved inside to the bedroom to cool off. The burgers will be cooked after the sun goes down when the Patio gets cooler.

Roast , Onions , Potatoes are in the Red one.... a heavenly aroma is waffling through the homestead.

In laws are gone, they had the 3 year old grand daughter/ wife's grand niece.... she's a cute & smart little kid, but as nap time rolled around,  she and I both got a tad over the visit .

Patience has never been a strong virtue in me  ::)

It's still too hot to grill on the Patio. Hopefully, In a couple of hours, Itvwill be cool enough to cook outside. The burgers should be tasty.

Nothing for Lunch and no clue for Supper tonight. No rain in sight around here for anytime soon. Moose is out at D/FW airport picking up one of our friends from her trip to Atlanta to visit her new great grandson.
