Afternoon! had a real super-duper toad strangler last night, 5" overnight in a lot of the area. Had to take the long way to work this morning....and coming home too. 30 minute detour on the mail route. No Wed. Church tonight for us, Highway department is replacing a bridge on one route, the other 2 reasonable ways are flooded or washed out. Getting tired of the liquid sunshine.

Got Sue off to Milwaukee this morning.  Had to have her at the airport by 5:00 AM, thankfully the airport is only 15 min. from the house.

Almost 80 right now, headed for 96.
The cats and I are takn’ the rest of the day off.  May go get some pizza for supper tonight.

Thanks for the Cawffee. I picked up Moose at the airport yesterday afternoon. We had an early supper and drove home. Victoria was happy to have her Momma home. We slept in, We had our morning Cawffee on the Patio. It was overcast and a little wind. It felt nice and the Cawffee tasted great.

Hello the fire. It has been awhile since I passed through. Still dealing with the wife's neck problem, will know in the next two weeks if she has to undergo surgery. She feels pretty good while wearing the brace but it doesn't appear to be healing. She is scared she will come out of surgery paralyzed. Between work and getting things done that Liz can't and having the daughter and grandkids underfoot it seems like there aren't enough hours in the week to keep up.

Haven't been to a shoot in I can't remember when, I haven't even had time to catch up with Arcey for some chili dogs. I am going to have to take some mental health days sometime soon and just do something fun. The grandkids are in the 4H shooting club, doing archery, and the youngest won a medal at her first District match. Older one has a birthday this weekend and continues to remind me why teenagers are aggravating.

Hope all here are doing well, I will try to check in more often.

Sue made it to Milwaukee in fine shape, United didn’t screw anything so far.

Got the pizza for supper.

Things have clouded up and we’re getting lightning and thunder, but no real rain yet.  It did a pretty good job of dumping water the other day on the other side of the valley.  Caused some mudslides and minor street flooding.

I slept in this morning. I've got some errands to run. I've got to go to Sam's to pick up a few things, I dread dealing with the crowds. I'm gonna try and get out there early and avoid most of the crowd. Moose is watering the back yard and Patio. Lots of strong Cawffee this morning, no plans for Breakfast. I am planning on grilling Burgers on the Patio, with baked beans, chips, and potato salad.

Remember lots of coals on top and few if any on the bottom.  Start with them heavy on top and only add the bottom at the end if you need to hurry it.    Should have sent you some of Liz's rub. ;)

The Sam's experience was not too bad. We  grabbed a late lunch out and finished up at Albertsons. We are back home and the groceries have been brought in. It is time for a nap.

We’ve had a few storm cells move though this afternoon.  Had a little lightning, thunder, but no rain.

I’m all set for the weekend, shopping wise, but if something comes up I’ll hit Wally World about 2 or 3 in the morning.  It’s only about 5-10 minutes away, and at that time the employees outnumber the customers about 2 to 1, and I get to park right by the door.

Have taken over patio watering duties along with some flowerbeds that need more than the three days a week that the sprinklers come on. 

Tonight I’ll finish off the pizza.  Tomorrow it’s grilled steak, grilled corn on the cob and baked tater.

Took a direct hit from lightning , blew a big hunk of bark of the huge oak out front...
I saw it hit ....ZANG
Power was out 2 hours ....zapped the DEVO box maybe the TV too & the landline phone is toast  .... satellite was scrambled but is reset now....

Internet router is OK .... smoked the kitchen fixture light bulb though ....

We only had a 20 % chance of rain, which amounted to a few drops of rain on the windshield. The weather  folks are saying a 20 % chance today as well. I had the 0100 plumbing check and back for another nap, prolly till about 0300.

No injures , but the tree and it is about 15' from the house...

Both satellite boxes are scrambled , the a for mentioned DEVO box is toast  and the den box ( normal box) has 1/2 the channels wiped out.

Sunny and 69 here at the moment. Got the rounds done and will be going to our son's camper for a bit today. Will have to be back to close the pool this evening,though. Playing at church tomorrow, and then a concert on Tuesday evening ::)

Had to contact Direct TV they will send a replacement HDTV DEVO ....it was after that we realize the other box was screwed.
Call Direct TV again, this time we got some IDIOT girl ....she had us chasing down the SS#  searching for a nonexistence reset button
, claim a Tech had to come out. " its not reading the same error as the other box" ...No ! because it just a box not a DEVO ...
It only allowing 1/2 the channels ....besides it matters not as we have ....the protection plan.
We don't need wait till Tues for a tech to tell us we need new a box  , and wait a week for one to ship !  JUST SHIP A DAM BOX !

I don't know where they get these inbred Jr. High dropouts  ..." OH ! they both were struck by lightning ? "

NO (stupid) .... your Direct TV HDTV DEVO was hit by lightning , the other Direct TV box died of  " loneliness & fright"  !  ::)

Land line battery phone is also toast... I'll buy another today ...

M2, I hope you have Cell service. I am glad that the lightning strike did not catch your house on fire. I hope things will be okay for the rest of the weekend. We had some fresh fruit to go with the Date-nut bread. I made a fresh pot of Cawffee. We enjoyed our food on the Patio. It was overcast with a little breeze.

M2  I’m surprised she didn’t tell you make sure it was plugged in.

May have to bring out the drover coat to grill the steak tonight.  60% chase of thorms this afternoon and evening.   Guess I’ll be eating in, instead of on the patio.  That will tick off the cats as they won’t  get the extra outside time.

The pork loin turned out well.

Having brats and baked beans for lunch.

I'm lube sizing .454 boolits.

Found out my new High Standard GI model 1911-A1 has a tighter chamber than my other 1911's, so my cast reloads won't chamber in it. I'll have to seat the boolits a bit deeper.

the moment it struck, SHE flipped the dinning room light on and it surged and blew out...
No shock , but the flash scared the hell out of her.


I'm doing BBQ ribs in the big red one ....  they'll be fall off the bone about 5 ish...

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

I know most Americans have no idea (nor do they care) why the "Union Jack of 1704 Act of Unification" evolved.
Most Brits know (I think). But I do wonder sometimes? if the Brits are as ignorant as we Americans are of our history?

We may not get the rain we were expecting, lighting included, for the fireworks displays tonight.
This is good, especially regarding the lighting issues!
Rain or not, the fireworks will go off. With a lot of lighting, the fireworks will be suspended.
The bombs/rockets will tend to attract lighting strikes.

The rain did not arrive last night. They had a big fireworks display at Lone Star park. We were able to watch it from our front yard. We went to bed about 11:00 pm, and the fireworks lasted till after midnight. The Cawffee and Hot water are ready this morning.

It looks like the rain will non-existent next week. It's either a flood or a drought around here. It is still cool on the Patio, at least for Breakfast, then for Supper, after the sun goes down. I bought another old Smith revolver on line, A Model 1 1/2, in 32 Rimfire. I should be able to pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

Got the cooking, eating, and cat outdoor time all in. (They had a high ol’ time chasing bugs in the back lawn as it got dark.  Happy cats).

Ribs turned out fine, Crock pot in a bed of onions & french onion soup ....Mrs. Dash Rub & BBQ sauce fell off the bone good.

Firework galore ...We have a neighbor,  a couple ranches over who does Fireworks display's up proud.
New Years, Memorial Day and the 4th. he always has the stuff of the big shows. 
Does, freak out the animals though....

Ground launched Firework displays are well known for attracting air to ground lighting strikes during thunder storms in this area.

Got Sue off to Milwaukee this morning.  Had to have her at the airport by 5:00 AM, thankfully the airport is only 15 min. from the house.

Almost 80 right now, headed for 96.
The cats and I are takn’ the rest of the day off.  May go get some pizza for supper tonight.


Used to be 5 - 15 minutes from Ontario airport when we lived in California... never lived anywhere more than a few minutes away since we got married.  Now the nearest commercial airline is 96 miles away and the little local one doesn't have any passenger service.

Good thing I don't need to fly anywhere any more.

Had a bit of trouble getting used to the quiet, but it's okay now.

We get some high fliers, commercial stuff heading North to parts unknown.
on occasion we see a Big job turning in of final for OIA, depending on the wind, kinda low.

We see the War Birds fly over during Sun'n' Fun and the Kissimmee Air Show.
a few year ago  I was out back,  A MiG-33 complete with camo paint streaked literately overhead  at low level
followed a few minutes later by 2 US fighters ...now that's something you just don't see everyday around here....
I did some questioning , found the MiG was a defectors gift and the 3 were running maneuvers down to the Sebring bombing range...
don't know if they were hot runs, but that's were they said they were headed .

Kinds noisy here in central Mo-I can hear the trains passing by several times a day (if I'm outside), tracks come within 3-4 miles of the house. Sometimes I can hear the nearest neighbor when he mows the grass. And the traffic's been pretty heavy on the road in front of my house, people are using it for a detour because of some bridge construction nearby. Probably doubled the normal traffic count of 20-25 cars a day..... ;D

I am on the regular flight path for A-10s heading over to Ft Wood to do practice runs, also the occasional C-130 or Blackhawk goes over. Once I looked up to see a pair of B-52s waaaay up there.

He was unaware of this till after the Raid. His outfit was a re-organized group that Doolittle now commanded as a One Star. Dad was shipped to North Africa in Nov. 42.

I am always amazed to see those light bombers deck launch from the carrier with room to spare.
Of course, the 50 to 55 knot wind speed over the deck (what with wind speed from the the storm and speed of the ship) help a lot.
This kind of air speed could not be duplicated while practicing ashore, and the Navy could not count on anymore air speed than the ships 28 to 30 knot speed.

I know that my Dad was proud to be a member of the Unit. I am a member of the 57th Bomb Wing, which he was a member. They had a reunion in Dallas last October, which I was able to attend. We had 9 WW2 vets from units of the 57th wing. It was neat to meet them.

The afternoon clouds finally decided to release a little bit of moisture last evening.  Only about .02 of an inch, but it went on for about 20 min.  Happen just as I was about to do patio watering, so I considered it mission accomplished.  The preceding lightning and thunder placed the cats in unknown places, but it didn’t last for long.  Did get the lawn mown in the morning before it got a chance to turn into hay.

Reno/Tahoe International sits at the floor of the valley, so it’s almost 1000 ft. below our place.  We’re about 5 miles east of the approach path, which runs north/south, so we never hear airline traffic.  About the only low level traffic to RNO we get are C-130’s from the Nevada Air National Guard.

we got a soaking yesterday over 2" in 3 hours,  many ground lightning hits close but no cigar ( I wasn't in the cross hairs this time goody )
looking at  a High of 96,  Humidity 98%

Did BBQ meatballs in the big Red one... first try, I'll  give it a 9 on scale of 1-10, defiantly a repeat attempt will be in order.

Had another .02 in. of rain yesterday evening.  Seemed like it should have been a lot more the way it came down.  Supposed to continue the pattern of clear mornings turning to cloudy, thunder, lightning then rain in the midafternoon.  Tomorrow’s daytime high is supposed to bottom out at about 72 then start a slow climb to the high 80s over the next week.

Yesterday’s afternoon’s rain came through and left almost 1/3 of an inch in the rain gauge.  Some more thunder and lightning and disappearing cats accompanied it.  Supposed to have tonight and Friday and Saturday continuing the process.  Hope it holds off tomorrow long enough to get the crab legs on the grill.  If not I’ll make my “wife’s away” Outback Steak House excursion, and have the legs next week.

OOooooo, 8 footers.......pricey! They're doing away with the one type of flourescents that we were using here. Fixtures were changed out in the clubhouse/barn this spring. These use the smaller diameter(T-8?) tubes. We've got 8 footers in the sewer plant building, one of those is out,IIRC ::) ::)

Direct TV ... waited all week  for Tech to show up today @ 8 -10 AM ...he arrives a 1:30 PM - 3 1/2 hours late

Can't figured it out, is on his phone to someone the whole time he's here   Moron doesn't know whats wrong , say's it the wires  ::)  he tried  them pulling out !  
He has 12' or more feet  pulled , and we see the new Flat Screen & box  he's been working on inside almost fall to the floor... we grab the inside wires , and yell stop pulling !  you almost pull the TV  off the bookcase .
" Oh ! he said I didn't know it was still attached" ..... DUDE you just attached it !

So now we have , wires hanging off the Roof , 12 or more feet pulled from the crawl space scattered on the lawn
and still attached to the boxes inside
and all directions disconnected from the splinter box ....looks like spaghetti  ::)  

I ask him , do you have clue what you are doing ? ....I told him call and get someone here to that does !

He claims he did ...and someone is coming .... Bull !  

He leaves ...we call Direct TV ...another Tech. come's out tomorrow 8 AM here we go again

We got Direct here, because that's the one that offers the Philippine network the wife wanted, Dish carried the wrong network. I don'tthing we have ever had to call them for anything, but then we never had lightning strike in the yard, either. I never watch it anyway, kids watch cartoons and she watches Philippine stuff a few tomes a week.

Now the satellite internets, THAT'S a whole different story......

I can say for certain, the day that ANYONE gets a fiber optic cable anywhere close enough to my house to get high speed internet, will be the day I call Excede (who did not exceed my expectations) to come get their junk.....

We had cable and the company was sold and changes names & logos so often you need a handbook, just to know your provider of the month was.... literately  7 different providers in  one year  ::) same equipment , same crap....

Fired them, and got Direct in 2004 ,  had 4 rooms set up with boxes .... all wiring was run in 5' (foot) crawl space
and up into 3 bedrooms & the Kitchen ....this it the wiring the MORON was trying to pull out  from
the outside ...never detaching anything inside  :o

nearly pulled the brand new flat screen off on the floor , we yelled for him to stop !

HE said " Oh I did know it was still attached ! "    WTH !  you were just inside and connected the new boxes ... what do you mean you didn't know they were still attached ....

I told the IDIOT, "call your boss and get someone that has clue what he's doing,  out here now ! "

IDIOT mumbled " he has been on the phone with his boss ",  to my wife.

I said , call him back ...NOW , he tried to mumble something and I cut him off  " DO IT NOW ! " can you at least handle that ?

We already were on the line to CS @ Direct TV ourselves at this point...

We'll see,  they're  suppose to be here @ 8 AM this morning , that's 15 min. from now and we've had no call they are coming  >:(

The weather has dried back up around here.  No rain for the foreseeable future.

Made the crab legs on the grill along with corn on the cob last night.  The cats and I dined on the patio.

Trying to decide if I should mow the lawn this afternoon or hold off until Wednesday.  I’m leaning toward Wednesday as it’s only the front part that is turning towards hay.

T-storm early this morn dropped 1" of rain. T-storms moving thru now. Severe t-storm warning until 9 PM.

Evenin Y'all,Well I had a fun night,I just got back from the E.R.,it seems I have kidney stones,Let me tell those of you who have never had them,They HURT...A LOT!! They gave me some stuff to help pass them along with some Vicodin for pain.As they say,This too shall pass.

Got ambitious this morning and decided to clean and polish the wood floors (kitchen, dining, hall and den).  Surprisingly my back isn’t bothering me.

Tomorrow’s it’s the green flooring outside the house.  It’ll wait until midafternoon.  Even though it might be a bit warmer, but the humidity will only be about 20% and the hay in the front will have a chance to dry out.

Planning on beef brisket, baked ‘tater and garlic bread for supper on the patio tonight.  Once it gets toward dark there should be a passel of bugs in the lawn for the cats to flush out.

Well I got the back & side pastures mowed....Guy just charges $75 more than fair.
I do the acres around the house & barn and more often , as well .

Rain and thunder bumpers are starting to move in.
Low temps for tonight are being called for at about 75. That will make sleeping (without AC) quite comfortable.

The clean up afterwards was probably some heavy work,Del :o

65 and light showers here. Keys to the kingdom day. We got the water service hooked up on the new "sales" office yesterday. Area around that one is a mud pit with all this rain we've had. Got the areas around the barn/club house mowed as well as the sewer plant mowed in the afternoon before the rain started. Ran back to the storage barns in the rain, though ::)

Brisket came out fine.  Bugs came out fine for the cats.  Samantha just huddled as her normal black furry mass in the middle of the yard, but Jake was a yellow streak back and forth from one end of the yard to the other ( I think he stomped on his sister a couple of times in the process.

Decided the grass was dry enough to mow it this morning.  Now I get to relax and think about a nap.

interesting evening last night  Sheriff  Helicopter with its search light blazing and Cop cars,  all with light flashing
All shining their spots in my pastures and around my barn. The front gate was closed so they did drive in.
Then after about 40 minutes of this, two firetrucks arrived.

Enough was enough so we call the Sheriff and ask WTH !  they said they were longing for guy that beat his girlfriend.
Told us to lock our doors & windows ... they want to know had we seen anyone ?

We had not but then its large area and many trees & cover... I checked the barn ..NADA

The bill for the brake job was expensive and hopefully this will cure the brake issues. Moose plans on trading it off after the first of the year. I fixed some chicken Quesadillas for lunch and they turned out good. Take-Out pizza for supper tonight.

T'storm started a little after 05:00. A lightning strike took out the VCR and the CRT TV is now rainbow colored. Gonna go to Walmart to see if I can find a LED with for a good price.

Kato has found a really good hide for his nap, I hunted him and he didn't reveal by showing up for a Cat Treat ...
He showed a few hours later from some room unknown  :-\   I was in the Kitchen and turned around and there he was like he been there the whole time...

My male cat is like that!  I’ll go on a Jake hunt, and not find hide nor fur of him (and I keep adding hiding spots whenever I run across a new one) but I’ll check every spot and still when I come back into the same room, there he sits with his “were you looking for me?” expression on his face.

Got the wife safely back!  UAL didn’t lose her on the way home.  Still planning on chicken, taters and corn for supper.  Dining will be on the patio!  Cat’s still aren’t sure if they forgive her for disappearing for 2 weeks, but I’m sure they will join us.

In laws are gone, they had the 3 year old grand daughter/ wife's grand niece.... she's a cute & smart little kid, but as nap time rolled around,  she and I both got a tad over the visit .

Patience has never been a strong virtue in me  ::)

Excitement around the Pony Express farmstead tonight. Was trying in vain to hack down foot tall crabgrass with the riding mower, wife comes running out motioning to come over- seems as she was about to go into the well house, a small copperhead was coming out. She thought it was huge, bigger than the water hose. Turned out to be about 16-18 inches long, not huge, but big enough! By the time we located it, it was trying to hide(also in vain) in a patch of daylilies and other ground cover plants. final score: Shovel-1, Snake-0.

I was looking at my lawn this morning, and thinking it needs a haircut already!  Maybe tomorrow if it dries out early enough.
Today was one of our watering days, but I’m thinking about turning off the evening cycle.  We’re turning into heavy overcast and thunder, so we may get some natural watering this afternoon. 

Don’t have to cook tonight, but thinking about chicken and cheese casserole for supper tomorrow night.  Now that she who still works is back, I need to get back into my normal schedule.

Got some mid afternoon thunder and a little sweat from the clouds.  Back to blue skies and scattered white cumulus now. 

Doing my cheesy chicken and rice casserole for supper.  Back to creating leftovers for the non-cooking nights.

Leaving the sprinklers off for tomorrow morning to allow for mowing by mid-morning.  Then I’ll wet things down again.

Was up and off the the work 20 ..had to go to Home depot for some T 50 staples

When in the south entrance ..left by the North entrance, get a call from one of my carpenters ( "he's under the weather and won't be in"...so I'm distracted  ::)

Walk to my SUV electronically unlock it several feet away , open the door and about get in when I see a green coffee cup...WTH I don't have green coffee cup..where that come from...look around and it not my SUV
Near identical maybe messier  ...but not mine , and I'm  1/2 way in  DoH !

Mine is in the next row over , it lights on showing I just key-less open it , I figure  the other one was just left open.
Glad I didn't get caught.

I guess the next milestone in life,  will be when I forget where I parked the dam thing  ::)

Don’t have that “where did I park it?” at the local HD, but there is something about the parking structure at Reno/Tahoe airport!  I swear when I park there to pickup “she who still works”, the structure moves my 4-Runner two  or three rows back and shifts it several stalls over.

The few times I have taken the wife’s white Mitsubishi when she’s out of town, I first have to quit looking for the 4-Runner, then have to start going through all the mid-sized, white four door cars that seem to own the parking lots around here!

I recall so many years ago , the local FM Rock radio station, offered " tenna toppers"

Day- glo Orange  Styrofoam ball for you cars telescope antenna , the idea  A.  advertise  WFUN Radio and B. help you see your car in a sea of a parking lot.....

Little fricking good it did...everyone got them before long , and every antenna sported one ! 

But in my case early this morning , the SUV was exactly my same model & color.... and I was distracted enough by the phone call,
 I just assume it was mine.... ::)

There care sooo many black hamsters running around now, that we have to be extremely careful in the parking lot anymore ::) :o

I was working myself,up at normal time just didn't get a chance to get on here.Mowed and trimmed again today. Was on my own, Boss had to take his better half to Stat-Care. Seems she either got stung  or bit by a spider. Twice no less, her had is swollen pretty bad ::)

Wife's car is a charcoal gray Trailblazer. Currently the most common car on the planet, it seems. Common enough that I actually know the license number, just to be on the safe side. A few years ago, I had a silver Taurus, would have been just as bad, except I used it on the mail route, so it was always the dirtiest car on any parking lot.

Today is National Hotdog Day at Sonic. Chili Dog and All-American Dog are $1. I went down and bought some for Lunch. Victoria enjoyed the Dogs. We had not had any Sonic Dogs in a long time. Supper is undecided for tonight. We are officially in the dog days of Summer(100 Degrees daily).

Mowed the hay field yesterday.  It’s looking pretty good in spite of our “drought”.  The afternoon clouds, showers and thunder are helping keep the lawn green.  They are also giving it credit for keeping our bear population up in the hills rather than foraging in and around town.

Planning on grilling steaks for supper, to be consumed on the patio along with baked tater and a little Chardonnay.  (Hope the bears aren't lured in by the aroma!)

I slept in this morning. I had a late breakfast on the Patio, Raisin bran and raisin bread toast and lots of black Cawffee. Hot dogs for Lunch. tex-Mex for Supper and Lots of adult beverages.

The hotdogs had mustard, relish, and onions on them. They were good. I had some pork and beans and Fritos with the hot dogs. Today is National Tequila day, I plan on taking advantage of that, by having several adult beverages tonight.

Tonight, Both "SHE" and I ran late in the home commute.... so "SHE" tried to call me but my cell battery is pooched.

Slept in, day off.What did I do on my day off from mowing and trimming? i mowed and trimmed my own lawn :( Just what I wanted to do. :P

I quit operating a backhoe many years ago. I had some fresh fruit, yogurt, and some sourdough toast for breakfast, on the Patio. It finally got too hot for the Patio, so I went in the house. No clue for Lunch. I am thinking Salads for Supper tonight.

Slept in some, then have gotten busy with laundry since the wife has a parade tomorrow that I'll be forced to go to. It's the start of Hall Of Fame week( yay ::) :-\). As I've gotten older,the farther away from that stuff, the better for me :P

Kinda had figured to BBQ some ribs today @ home for supper tonight.... But  ::)

Our Houston Branch yelled uncle yesterday , so I have to come in today a bail them out....again !

So I figure,  I'll treat my crew to BBQ ...call the order in to Sonny's .....happy crew  :)

I got Ribs & chicken + sides  ..... I'm good, won't need supper.

A little different set-up there at the Durham, used lubp charcoal in a sandbos, made 10 pounds of flour into small dinner rolls and gave them away, they are sending me a check for groceries and a tank of gas.   Only used half one.

'Twas a lovely night on the patio last evening.  The brats, corn and tater salad were great!  The weather was perfect even into o’dark’thrity.  The garden lights kicked in and gave a nice glow to the whole area.  Had to call it an evening though, when it got too dark to spot the cats in the shadows and the underbrush.

cooked ...so I got a shrimp cocktail for lunch  ;D

I have my special rub ribs in the big red one ....should near perfection about 4 ish,  I'll allow them to breath till 5PM

Weekly shopping after Church, first ate too much at Ocean Buffet(Asian place) then walk some of it off in Wally World. Didn't walk it alloff, though. Debating whether to have a nap. "heat advisory" outside might help make up my mind.

Wife had a parade today. Luckily, her group was early in the parade. About 20 minutes after we got back to the car,it cut loose. Had almost 2 inches by the time it quit. Have flash flood warnings out for the creek down here ::) :o

"SHE" had girls night out and they went an Italian cuisine.... I knew they be late so I just did some eggs w/ toasted bagel.
She brought me some lasagna & salad , I figure for lunch today.

Work load is such I had to start two shifts today, I have one lead and crew in @ 6AM to 2:30
the other lead & his crew @ 1PM to 8:30 PM ...I oversee with a split ...going in about 10:30 ish

Hired two extra carpenters ...

Sounds like me when I try keep up with the wife doing yard work.  She's the dynamo for weeding, trimming and planting.  I just mow the lawn.  I think it has something to do with her growing up on a farm!  I was just an outskirts city boy.

Too hot for Coffee, switching to iced tea. I had some blueberry waffles for breakfast and no Lunch. No clue for Supper. I had some errands to run this morning, before it got too hot. Yesterday was the hottest day of the year, so far. I am moving inside. It is too hot to sit on the Patio.
