Bone Tomahawk........a bit different.

Has anybody caught Bone Tomahawk yet? It won't be to everyone's taste. Kind of a character driven western with intriguing horror. Stick wth it if you do get it.

Saw  the trailer, looks interesting.
Also saw the trailer for "The Hateful Eight" with Kurt Russell. I guess he made two westerns while his hair was long and he had a beard. The only problem with "The Hateful Eight" is that Quentin Tarantino wrote and directed it.

My daughter, wife and I watched Bone Tomahawk this past weekend.  It was availalbe on-demand from our cable service.  It is too graphic to be a family movie, which you can probably tell from the trailer and the rating.  My (adult) daughter and I watched it entirely, but my favorite wife, Mrs. Red, got up from the couch as one scene near the end of the movie was too graphic for her taste.

I wouldn't call it a great movie, but I did like it...especially since there has been such a dry spell on western movies.

Just finished watching it......EXTREME graphic toward the end. I won't give it away but be forewarned....Absolutely not for kids!

On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 4

Just watched it today. I liked it. It was good, not great, but at least the gunfire didn't sound like cap guns. And, I liked seeing the Merwin Hulbert in use.

My sentiments exactly.

Just watched it on Amazon for free. I thought it moved along rather slowly.

I rented it from Redbox for $1.6. I thought it was okay, a little weird but entertaining! 8)
