In the last week I have heard a reference to scupperpong jelly twice.
Can anyone tell me what the heck a scupperpong is, where it grows, what it looks like,
and what it taste like and what it looks like?
Thanks, Creek Johnson

We have wild grapes in Texas, I've always heard them refered to as "Mustang Grapes".

Thanks Dr. Bob, I have been educated. I had not thought of looking in google,
I thought the term "scuppernong" was a slang for something else as I could not find
it in the dictionary

Muscadines of muscydines. I used to pick them by the bushel when I was a kid. i hd a neighbor who gather up all the kids in the arer and we'd all go gather muscadines and he and his wife would make jelly for all the kids families.
i have a couple of vines on my place but they dont produce much.

Take a peak at the picture next to my name, I've got 2 1/2 acres of vines growing in my front yard in North Central North Carolina.
