Dec. 1st. just 24 shopping days left till Christmas, On this day in 1929 my Mother & Dad were married.
This would be their 85th. anniversary, God rest them. It still strikes me with wonder, the things they experienced & changes they saw in their Century.

Had a bear in the trash last night.  THe thing is, the trash cans are just outside my window.  When staring down a 250+ pound bear, one realizes that a wall is quite thin.   One air-soft BB to the rump-roast, and he took off.

Had quarterly's to do today, plus we had to change a lamp head. Got at least 4 hours in anyway.

The lows gonna be in the 30s tonight. The high tomorrow willbe in the low40s and 30s for a low. We will have a warmup for the rest of the week. I fixed up a meat loaf with mashed potatoes for supper tonight, with some green beans.

Finally home!!!
United Airlines lived up to my expectations again!!  We were supposed to fly out of Eugene OR Sunday night at 8:00 PM.  Went on line and printed boarding passes (which went through) about 9:00 AM.  Went back online about 3:00 PM to check on the flight status before the hour drive from Florence to Eugene.  THE FLIGHT FROM EUGENE TO SAN FRANISCO WAS CANCELED!!!! (due to air traffic control procedure problems)  Let the wife handle talking to United so I wouldn't damage our friend’s phone while trying to strangle the UAL agent on the other end.
Ended up getting placed on Alaska Airlines (Eugene to Portland to Seattle to Reno).  The flight was early in the morning so we drove to Eugene and spent the night in a motel on our nickel.
Got to the airport and found out United had not transferred all the information they needed to get to Alaska Al.  Took almost an hour to get that straightened out (we were lucky we showed up extra early, and I went off in a corner and let Sue handle it, or I might have run afoul of TSA).
Once in the hands of Alaska Air everything went according to the new schedule. 
Just that we were supposed to be home Sunday night about midnight, and finally got here about 6:00 PM tonight.

OK I vented, now I’ll get back to what passes as normal for me.  Even though it’s early, I’m ready for a nap!

Guessers say 'bout 50° 'n it's 'bout there now.

Doin' some prep werk yestitty. Need a hunka paper for garbage 'n ended up with a Best Buy ad thing. Had my camera for a hunnert bucks less than I paid for it. Got a bit hostile 'n started after the receipt ta take mine back. Read it closer 'n saw BB's didn't include the long zoom. They wanted $250.00 fer that. Made my Sam's deal a bunch cheaper.

Did my bankin'. Get my envelope w/ a little, very little, cash in it. Tossed it in the glove box. Get home. Phone rings. The teller was tryin' ta werk someone else 'n me at once. Stuck the other's ID in my envelope. Got ready ta screw with 'em but it weren't the bank I'd be screwin' with it'd been the young lady without her DL. Took it back.

Soup didn't get done yestitty. It'll get done taday. Got a head of cabbage she forgot 'bout Thanksgivin'. Doin' that too. Missed huntin' yestitty. Wanna try the GC for a while after that stuff get's done.
