Thanks 10zzz  I need all the coffee I can get right now.  I see I was livin' in the past yesterday.  Guess it was my turn to be the April Fool. ::)

Had my folks come over yesterday afternoon and had a real enjoyable day visiting.  I did not get my Sunday nap.  Do you think the boss would mind if I took one here at verk?

Just make sure you close the winder after it goes out.  It drizzling and cool here for the next several days.  We may even see snow mix this week.

$2.57 for the stuff with 10% corn squeezin's around here. $2.95 for deeesal.  Wish my truck would burn that stuff that's 85% corn squeezin's, it was $2.35, might have to see if I can cange a chip and burn it.

Currently beatin' clothes on the rocks. Supposed to get into mid 60's today, and some tomorrow. Then it goes down the dumper, with some talk of snow flakes on Thursday. Temps in the high thirties through the weekend. Figures, there's a shoot Saturday.........Buck 8) ::) :-\

Close call here on the farm a hour ago....  Pumping brewx into the new(less tha a week old) $36,000 feed mixer.  Finished up I was on top of it watching it work.  The herds man turned the gas powered pump off it backfired as usual.   >He used the choke and not the switch.<  He them took the gas cap off to refuel the tank....You know that warning label on them newer models says do not refuel hot engines?  It's there for a reason.   Yep fumes ignited backing into the can that is still connected to his hand.  He tossed it splashing fire along it's trail. the can landing Seeing the smoke I jump off and move the tractor and mixer. under the new Mixer.  The water hose is near by and already on cause certin people find it inconveniated to turn it off.  Now I have to run back into the faning flames, yep the wind decided to blow, and move the closet pick up truck to it. Big John is trying to hose the flames and keep it away from the barns and get a Mexican to understand fire extingiuiser.  Now back into the flames that are on to the other truck and move it. Where is my phone oh yeah in the barn that is about to become a inferno. By time I get thru the front and found my phone and a dry exting. Big John was getting a handle on the flame. A quick shot from the ABC finished it off.    It's never a dull moument around here.  That gas was $2.69 a gallon was a little higher today.  John had a burn on his arm and is heading into get it checked. I am going to Google the spanish words for Fire Extingiuiser
