Napping can be habit-forming but it is not hazardous to your health.

Take some reading materials, you're gonna do a lot of sittin' and waitin'.

Went through two volumes of Harvard Books Sherlock Holmes Mysteries, two volumes of Agatha Christie, and the latest Jason Bourne (Van Lustbader is a poor replacement for Ludlum), plus a half dozen magazine articles, a newspaper and five DVD movies.

That was the most boring five days in the last fifteen years.

Those violent napping spells seem to occur more often as you get older Forty.  You've earned em so just kick back and enjoy them!

They just come on you so fast and unexpected.  Nothing to do but drop whatever you're doing and ride 'em out.  ;D

I sure am glad to read that all is looking good!

About the violent nap attacks... I get them too.  The bummer of it all is when I'm in the middle of a really good western. >:(

I already watch almost everything on DVD because of the "knap" attacks. ;D  In fact, I just finished watching the second half of the 1959 Journey to the Center of the Earth ::) :D

Hey Trin, it's good ta know I'm not the only one in our age group that dips out now and then.  I was watching Ghost Town yesterday and dang near went into a coma.  Weren't the movies fault, I guess ma body just needed it.

Sounds like good news 40.  Catchin the stuff early is key.  My Dad is doin just fine 7 years after they found somethin in him.  Doesn't even have ta go fer check ups anymore, got a clean bill of health.

Good to hear the good progress reports.  I wish you could have able to some where besides LA(Wierdo Capitol of the World). Houston wasn't my first choice, but that was where the best place was at. Probably the same way with LA.

Under our circumstances it was a six week traditional series four miles away or this new one week all-out treatment over there.

We were just west of Vermont Ave and two blocks north of Sunset.  Had a 300 sqaure foot apartment, sort of a Ronald McDonad place owned by the hospital, and walked down to Sunset and over a way, a scant mile round trip, twice a day right in the middle of Little Armenia.  (Nice enough folks, but not very friendly.)

Parking is a four-square, diamond-studded, star-spangled bitch around there, and traffic makes NYC look positively mundane and well-organised.  We have to go back a week from Friday for a follow up exam and then everything else should be local.
People like me are the reason people like you have the right to bitch about people like me.

Sunset Blvd is strange after dark. All sorts of little creatures come out after dark.

Theys just the decoys.  Take Sunset ta Vine and hang a left.  There ahead in all er glory is Hollywood Blvd.  A must see fer any freak seekers, and a real bummer fer anyone who gets lost on the way home from Universal Studios at night.

Signed up ta go ta LA on a prisoner trip once.

Pard of mine what just come back showed up on had a seat ‘side my desk. Said we had ta have a talk.

Told me of drivin’ on the i-state ‘n missin’ a turn er bein’ in the wrong lane. Got ta where they were goin’ ‘n the deputies weren’t gonna turn the prisoner o’er cuz they didn’t have a cover letter from their DA. Took ‘em so long ta get it straight they missed their flight.

Left a memo for the extradition officer ta find someone else. Rank has its privileges.
