Last spring my P.A.C.T. professional chronograph stopped working, said it didn’t get a start or sometimes a stop signal. I messed with the wires, changed batteries and cleaned the sky screens. Nothing changed. Phoned the company and never got through. This fall at a garage sale I found a new in the box P.A.C.T. PC2 with sky screens, just $75 and thought I had done good! I do like the printer on the old one but with 30 some years of use it has served me well.
Today a test in the back yard with the pellet gun showed the expected numbers and then I plugged in the old worn out Professional. Bingo same numbers! Must be the sky screens says I! So I plug the new one into the old screens and it worked, anyway I did it they both work! So now I have two chronographs but haven’t the $75 to spend on important things, whiskey, primers, you know, stuff.
Now is this good luck or bad luck?
