Just finished gun rig
« on: June 29, 2023, 03:09:29 PM »
This is for a Ruger Old Model Blackhawk, .357 Magnum, 4 5/8” barrel.
It’s a lefty so took some mental changes to get it right (or is it left?)
Got it all done correctly until I put on my maker mark.  Upside down 😭  Luckily I put it on the Buckle end chape. Made a new one.

Looks good. Every good pistol deserves a fine rig. Nice work, pard!

Very nice! Love the color. The border stamp you used is one of my favorites.

Turned out great. I have been on a Blackhawk kick lately. I just got a 7.5" 44 mag. Now I am wanting a custom 44 special.

Your rig turned out very nice. Only think I would do differently is I think I would have sewn on the buckle pieces just in case the double end rivets ever came loose. I don't always trust the double end rivets to stay there for ever.

Excellent job though.

Thanks Rube…they are Chicago Screws not rivets.  I had enough trouble getting them apart to change to the new “fixed” one. ;D
